Pediatricans Continuing Education
In continuing your education to become a pediatrician you must complete continuing medical education hours also known as (CME's). You will need CME's in order to maintain/keep your license to practice medicine. The number of hours required differs from state to state. Many organizations will offer you your needed education to continue on in your career. For example, the American Academy of Pediatrics offers you programs in pediatric hospital medicine and pediatric dermatology. The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry offers you programs in early-onset bipolar disorder and substance abuse in children and adolescents.
